Felita Anane, LCSW
The decision to seek therapy requires bravery and commitment, and I honor the strength required to take this step. I am committed to empowering women of color to understand and experience their lives in a more satisfying and meaningful way by supporting them through a practical, cultural, relational and narrative combined approach. I work closely with my clients to help them find meaning in their lives and to increase balance between their values, behaviors, and life circumstances. My approach to healing involves an eclectic collaboration with clients. Through individual and group therapy, I utilize treatment methods such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.
I counsel women from marginalized communities in the areas of sexual abuse and human/sex trafficking, anxiety, depression, anger management, emotional disturbance, trauma and PTSD. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, anger management and emotional disturbance.
